I welcome all of you to the new year of the Sindhi Times.
The Sindhi Forum and The Sindhi Ladies Forum 2024-2025 are led by Mr. Lavin Shivnani and Mrs. Preethi Punjabi, respectively. I thank both of them for the trust and faith they have placed in me as I continue in the editor’s role for another year. Thank you so much! I want to introduce my editorial team comprising Mrs. Radhika Hinduja, Mrs. Rhea Jumani, Mrs. Yashi Harjani, and Ms. Muskaan Bathija. That’s Girl Power for you! We have all put tremendous effort into this edition. I hope you enjoy reading it, as much as we enjoyed working on it.
This year we celebrate the 25th Silver Jubilee of the Sindhi Forum Coimbatore! Hearty congratulations to all of us! We have a special feature covering the views of Past Presidents of the SFC who have been the pillars of the organization and contributed to its success and growth.
The AGM held at Darza Resorts Coimbatore was a huge success and we bring you all the coverage and pictures of it!
Also, in this edition, we cover SFC and SLF events with parties and projects undertaken successfully by both. A competition was organized by the editorial team for the little children of the Sindhi Forum. Themed Diwali, it had 3 categories- Creating a poem, Writing a letter to Goddess Lakshmi, and a Poster Making Competition. We received a good response and featured all the entries in this edition. Look inside to find the much-awaited results chosen by an external impartial jury.
