Big thanks to everyone who came out today for the Blood Donation Camp.
Special thanks to VGM Hospital for the smooth arrangements — everything was clean, comfortable and they even took care of us with watermelon juice and healthy biscuits.
A very special mention to Nisha Kinger, who was the driving force behind making this camp happen.
Speaking personally — it’s only after donating that I realised how important this really is. The in-charge shared how even something as common as B+ is in huge demand, and how they see patients with hemoglobin as low as 3 lose their lives simply because blood wasn’t available. That really hits hard.
And this doesn’t have to stop with today. Anytime — now or even months later — if you feel like donating blood, you can reach out to Sunil Tukrel, Nisha Kinger or me, and we’ll help make the arrangements.
Today was a small step, but hopefully the start of something we do more often.
